Middle School Chromebook Update

Starting the 2026-2027 school year, Haysville Middle School and Haysville West Middle School will move away from the 1:1 Chromebook model. Students will no longer be assigned an individual Chromebook for daily use throughout the school year.

Technology will still be available in classrooms when it supports a lesson, project, or assignment. Students who need a device to complete homework will also be able to check one out as needed.

This change is intended to create a more balanced and engaging learning environment by reducing digital distractions, encouraging face-to-face interaction, and supporting student focus and well-being.

Our teachers will continue using technology when it meaningfully enhances learning and supports student success.
